Wendy's Funeral

Wendy's Funeral

So many tears have been shed—and continue to be shed—because the world lost one of its brightest lights. Wendy was not just a beautiful woman; she was an angel sent to remind us of the things that truly matter. Her presence, her energy, and her spirit were unlike anything I’ve ever known. She had a way of lighting up every space she entered and leaving people better than she found them.

I wish each and every one of you could have met Wendy while she was alive. You would have felt it—the warmth in her smile, the sparkle in her eyes, the kindness in her voice. She embodied love in motion. For 12 extraordinary years, I had the honour of walking beside her, and not a single day goes by where I don’t feel her with me.

There are days I long to be with her again—to cross the veil and hold her hand like I used to—but I know I have a mission to fulfill. I am here to carry on what she began. Her message was simple yet profound: Life is beautiful.

Connection, expression, love—this is what it’s all about. Cherish every hug. Say “I love you” often. Forgive quickly. Laugh loudly. And never forget that we are all connected—through life, through death, and through the invisible threads of spirit that tie us all together.

Everything else… is just a game. A beautiful, fleeting game we get to play while we’re here.

With Deepest Gratitude

I want to extend my sincerest thanks to the incredible people and businesses who helped honor Wendy in the way she truly deserved. Your love, your service, and your presence have meant more than words could ever express. From the depths of my heart—thank you.

To everyone who visited Wendy at the ICU, attended her viewing, her funeral, or came to my home to sit with me in the silence—you are my angels. Your presence, your prayers, your support—you are the reason I’m still standing.

To the behind-the-scenes teams, the friends still honoring her in your own quiet ways—thank you. Wendy sees you. And she loves you. So do I.

There are so many more people I need to thank, and I will continue to do so in every way I can. I promise to keep sharing her light, her laughter, and her love. Because life is beautiful—and we’re meant to cherish it, together.

With all my love,
Kaiflames
