The Snowstorm of Life
An endless uphill climb
through treacherous mountains,
enshrouded by a tumultuous snowstorm
its chill rips through every living part of your soul.
when does it end?
no answer
only wind.
a heavy draft pressing you to the edge.
but slowly,
bracing yourself becomes just a little easier
here,
you begin to glimpse the calm
after a storm that once wrought chaos.
its menacing form still lingers,
etched in the air you breathe.
but its grip begins to loosen.
the storm exhales,
slowly relinquishing its wrath,
as warmth returns once more to your body.
